About Me
A little bit about me and my background, I served in the Military in the RAF Police where I served tours overseas, very different to what I’m doing now but suffering with my own back and knee injuries gave me a real insight into the recovery and rehab process. My own personal experience of injury and recovery has definitely enabled me to relate to a lot of my clients which has helped enhance that rapport and trust between us. It allows me to really connect with my clients and ensure they feel heard and understood.
In 2021 I graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Sports and Exercise Medical Sciences and went on to work with the Physiotherapy team in the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, mainly on trauma and orthopaedic wards. It was these experiences that made me realise how important helping others through their physical recovery journey is to me. It is absolutely the core of what I do and I use my passion and drive through sports massage to help those struggling whether it be reducing pain, improving mobility and movement or optimising recovery and maintaining physical function.
Outside of the treatment room I spend a lot of time with my 10 year old son, my partner and 2 crazy Cockapoos. I’m quite creative so I enjoy making anything arts and crafts, sketching is my go to artwise. Of course fitness has been a big part of my life since my military days, I participated in joint service rowing regattas whilst I served but since then I spend a lot of time in the gym and the pool, participating in running races, 10k’s or half marathons or trying my hand at golf or rock climbing. I will generally give anything a go.
